- I've learnt that when it comes to the social world men are more noticed than women. Women's rights are not are cared for, when men's rights are.
- Serena Williams is the highest paid female athlete in the world she comes 51st in most paid around the world, and the person in front of her, Roger Federer even though he was a tennis player $84M more than Selena. Women far more underpaid when it comes to sports.
- I think it is so unfair that even though Venus Williams has won 23 grand slams she's only won $80M during her career while Novak Djokovic has earned over $100M despite only winning 12 grand slams!
What I want to know the most is WHY men are paid far more money than women, even if the women worked harder and longer.

ReplyDeleteIt is a great injustice that there does seem to be a big pay gap for men and women in sports especially. Thankfully because of we're now becoming more aware of it and people are standing up against it so the world is moving closer towards a fairer outcome.
You post is really detailed and your answered are very thoughtful. I hope that this has relied up your passions and made you angry (I think it should) and I hope you keep pursuing the answer to your question.
