Interland - Mindful Mountain Success

My best friend Dante and I played Mindful Mountain on Interland today and it was so fun.
We learnt that private information like passwords, emails and addresses are private and should not be shared with the public.

I enjoyed playing this game because it taught me about things I would need to know to be able to protect my information. - Amelia

I really liked how the game was so enjoyable and that there are so many ideas that go into it. - Dante

D4 A2 - What's in a Name?

If I were to change my name what would it be and why?

Even though I think about changing my name a lot I don't really think I ever would. I know why the name I have is my name and I know the importance of it.
If I were to change my name I think it would be... Cassandra Potter.
Cassandra would be for one of my favourite authors Cassandra Clare, who wrote The Mortal Instruments, and Potter would be from one of my most favourite cluster of books, Harry Potter.
But then again if I did ever change my name to that it probably would have been a last minute decision.

D4 A1 - Individual Pursuits

  1. I've learnt that when it comes to the social world men are more noticed than women. Women's rights are not are cared for, when men's rights are.
  2. Serena Williams is the highest paid female athlete in the world she comes 51st in most paid around the world, and the person in front of her, Roger Federer even though he was a tennis player $84M more than Selena. Women far more underpaid when it comes to sports.
  3. I think it is so unfair that even though Venus Williams has won 23 grand slams she's only won $80M during her career while Novak Djokovic has earned over $100M despite only winning 12 grand slams!
What I want to know the most is WHY men are paid far more money than women, even if the women worked harder and longer.

D3 A2 - Defying the Odds

If I were to interview Stephen Curry what would my five questions be:
  1. My first question would be: "How long have you been playing basketball?"
  2. My second question would be: "What inspired you to be a basketball player?"
  3. My third question would be: "What other sports did you like when you were a kid other than basketball?"
  4. My fourth question would be: "How old were you when you first started playing basketball?"
  5. My fifth question would be "Why did you decide to be a basketball player?"

If I were to have three superpowers what would they be and why?
  1. My first power would be mind reading because I would know what everyone was thinking and what their next move would be.
  2. My second power would be an elemental because then I could control everything. Air, water, earth and fire. I could also control humans seeing as nearly 60% of the human body is made up of water.
  3. My third power would be copycat because then if anyone else had powers I could copy their powers and have so many.

D2 A3 - Miracle on the Hudson

Either I don't know someone doing something brave or I just can't remember.
I don't ever recall knowing someone doing something brave, maybe I did when I was younger, but I definitely don't now.
I think the closest thing I know to anyone doing something brave would be my Mum, when she took charge after a dog was loose and had bitten three children including my sister. She didn't panic and had everything under control, she just called animal control.

D2 A2 - One Small Step For Man

I have chosen to write two Haiku Poems about how I would have felt, landing on the moon.

Landing on the moon,
bouncing on a trampoline,
I was terrified!

Floating in the air,
while moving in slow motion,
I was excited!
